SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The support point produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more status sassa methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
